FT Youth: Growing in Christ Together
Faith Tabernacle’s Youth Ministry is far more than a place for students to be entertained or simply gather with friends. It is a Christ-centered community designed to nurture spiritual growth, build strong foundations of faith, and guide young people into a deeper, more personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Faith Tabernacle Youth Ministry Mission:
To be intentional in building the youth of today into strong solid believers of Jesus Christ. Teaching the Word, through effective activities and motivating their spirit to be on fire for Christ.
Our purpose is intentional: to create meaningful opportunities for students to encounter God, develop their gifts, strengthen their character, and learn how to live out their faith boldly in their everyday lives. Through discipleship, worship, service, and authentic connection, we aim to equip the next generation to follow Christ with passion and purpose.
In a healthy youth ministry, every program, event, and activity is intentionally aligned with the ministry’s mission. Nothing exists “just because.” Each gathering, teaching moment, outreach effort, and relationship-building opportunity is designed to move students closer to spiritual maturity and deeper devotion to Jesus Christ.
When the mission drives the ministry, the youth team leads with clarity, students grow with purpose, and the entire ministry becomes a unified expression of what God has called it to be.
Young people continue to walk away from the church and their faith after high school.
Students who are surrounded by multiple committed adult believers, people who consistently encourage them, guide them, and speak truth into their lives are far more likely to remain connected to the church long‑term. When young people experience genuine, Christ‑centered relationships with caring adults, they gain stability, accountability, and spiritual support that continues to shape them well beyond their teenage years.
This kind of intentional investment doesn’t just help students stay involved after graduation; it equips them to flourish in their faith, navigate adulthood with confidence, and live out their identity in Christ wherever God leads them.

Students are drawn to leaders who genuinely care about them, people who see them, value them, and take the time to understand who they are becoming. Young people long to be known, supported, and encouraged by adults who take their spiritual growth seriously.
When a youth ministry intentionally creates space for students to build meaningful, Christ‑centered relationships with adult believers, it does more than fill a calendar. It establishes a powerful foundation for both evangelism and discipleship. Through these relationships, students encounter the love of Jesus in a personal way, and they gain trusted guides who can walk with them as they grow in faith, character, and purpose.
