Serving God and People: Ministries of Faith Tabernacle Full Gospel Baptist Church
Faith Tabernacle Full Gospel Baptist Church is a vibrant ministry dedicated to nurturing spiritual growth, strengthening families, and serving the community through a wide range of Christ-centered ministries. Each ministry plays a vital role in fulfilling the Great Commission and ensuring that every member and visitor experiences the love, care, and power of God.
The Children’s Ministry, provides a safe, structured, and loving environment where children receive Christian education, participate in holiday activities, and enjoy special events that help build a strong foundation in Christ. Supporting the church’s outreach and connection efforts, the Communications Ministry manages public relations, visitor registration, and new member sign-ups, ensuring everyone feels welcomed and informed from their first visit.
The Helps Ministry faithfully maintains the church building and grounds, creating a clean, safe, and pleasant atmosphere for worship. Extending the church beyond its walls, the Home Fellowship Ministry organizes neighborhood-based groups that reach those unable to attend church, sharing God’s Word through Bible study, fellowship, and soulwinning.
Care and compassion are central to the Hospital Ministry, which ministers to hospitalized members, their families, and the sick and shut-in through prayer, visits, and encouragement. Likewise, the Interaction Ministry ensures no member feels overlooked by maintaining regular personal contact, offering prayer, encouragement, and support to identify and meet individual needs.
Worship is enhanced through the Music Ministry, which includes the Instruments of Praise, Adult Choir, Teen Choir, and special music groups. Through anointed music, this ministry prepares the atmosphere for the teaching and receiving of God’s Word. The Performing Arts Ministry further illustrates Scripture through dance, drama, and creative expression, especially during holidays and special celebrations.
Meeting both spiritual and practical needs, the Ministry of Resources assists tithing members facing challenges related to food, clothing, shelter, and other necessities. The New Members Ministry helps individuals transition into church life by offering classes, guidance on church policies, and opportunities to become actively involved in ministry.
The Pastor’s Aides lovingly attend to the needs of the Senior Pastor, Associate Ministers, and guests, providing hospitality and support during services, events, and special occasions. At the heart of outreach, the Soulwinning Ministry trains believers to become “fishers of men,” actively sharing the gospel through door-to-door evangelism, community events, and meeting physical needs while pointing others to Christ.
Behind the scenes, the Technical Engineering Staff and Television Ministry work together to operate and maintain audio-visual systems, producing and broadcasting services to reach audiences beyond the sanctuary. Finally, the Usher Board Ministry serves as the first point of contact, greeting members and visitors, directing sanctuary flow, assisting with offerings and communion, and supporting outreach events.
